Hotel reviews
23 August 2009 by YanaThe last time I stayed at Hotel Meurice in Paris in August 2008. I with my husband spent 5 nights there during the final weekend of our tour through Europe. Everything was clean, tidy and nice. The bathroom was big and looked beautiful and modern. The bed was perfect for my sleep - very comfortable and cozy. The prices were reasonable for Paris except the prices on food and drinks. During our stay at the hotel there was renovation work in the lobby so it was a little bit noisy at the hotel. In conclusion, I have no complains about the location of this hotel (it is situated in the nearby of all famous places of interests) and would like to stay here again.
13 August 2009 by KarlThe Hotel Meurice is a typically French hotel. It is situated near shopping center and in a short distance to the famous sights of the city. The service in the hotel is perfect. The concierge can help you with everything and the staff was very polite, friendly and ready to help you 24-hours a day.
07 August 2009 by SamMy room in Maurice hotel was very large, facing beautiful views of Paris and I liked to look through the modern windows at night and to enjoy the beauty of the night - Paris. I would recommend this hotel to everybody and now I can truly say that it's my favorite hotel in Paris.
21 July 2009 by MarilinI liked my room very much because it was larger than I expected, very clean and tidy. I felt a little bit uncomfortable during the breakfast because it was too crowded there. The bar in the lobby was nice, full of a wide range of drinks and dishes but a bit expensive. Free Internet access was the most important advantage at this hotel. In conclusion, I'd like to say that it's a pretty hotel and I would recommend it to my friends and relatives.
26 June 2009 by MagThis hotel is centrally located close to various shops and cafes. To say truly, when I stayed at the hotel it outweighed my expectations. When I booked a room I asked about a quiet room, so when I arrived at the hotel I found out that my room (number 214) faced the street. I thought it would be too noisy but I was nicely surprised to sleep calmly and not to notice any sounds, because the room had double windows.
20 June 2009 by LindaFew monthes ago I stayed in this hotel. Very nice accommodation. Spend a perfect time in this hotel. Especially liked the service that was on a good level. Buffet breakfast was delicious and fine. The location also pleased us because the hotel was in a close proximity to all major sites.
12 June 2009 by MyleneAmazing weekends!!I with my boyfriend spent there unforgettable time! The accommodation was excellent .... The room was beautifully furnished and so cosy. We dined in the hotel restaurant and the dinner was wonderful. The style of the hotel is classic and romantic.
30 May 2009 by Bill AndersonIt was a last minute decision to visit Paris. I searched on the web for a discount accommodation and found Hotel Meurice. It turned to be a fine hotel with a great service. They assigned me a superior room with an amazing view over the city. There was a full range of hotel facilities, that made staying even more comfortable.
24 May 2009 by NicoleStayed in Meurice for weekend. Benefits of the hotel - central location, wonderful staff, various buffet breakfast! There were also some minuses - the bed was too soft and it not very comfortable to sleep, not properly air-conditioned room. In one word- it is rather good accommodation in Paris...
14 May 2009 by TeodorAbsolutely deluxe accommodation in Paris! We had a well-priced room that featured all room amenities you may need during your stay. Hotel Meurice is a right decision if you are looking for a unexpensive accommodation not far from the centre of Paris!

Meurice awards the prize for contemporary art 1st October 2009 Hotel Le Meurice announced the winner of its Meurice Prize for Contemporary Art - the nonprofit competition that allows young artists promote themselves and demonstrate their talent to general public. This year's winner is Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil (Situ gallery). It is he who was chosen to be awarded with a €20,000 prize for his creative project «Black Out» that left more than other 50 presentations behind. The «Black Out» is an image of a city-wide power off, or, in another interpretation, the memory loss. What makes the project special is that the author shows how darkness can be used instead of light. Art lovers will be able to see Renaud's work at the Armory Show 2010 in New York.
